vtec controller problem

works great...and maybe he doesn't have a BTC....

btw - my BTC works good with my field unit too.

yes its a fields unit,and i have j&s ultra,it did it before the j&s.

i have a 00 civic ex(jrsc)when i set my vtec point on the controller at 5 or above rpms the controller freaks out when i hit vtec,the controller blinks off and on and the rev limiter is reset to whatever my vtec was suppose to be at,so instead of having a 7200rpm limiter its like 5rpms,i have the vtec harness also so i know the wires are right,everthing else works fine even when i set my vtec so i doesnt come on.

I had the same problem and called jr.if you are using field vtec controller, jr does not recommend that. Because vtec controller and timing knob (adjaster) hooked up to same ecu port. So, they cancel each other.

Sounds like a wiring problem.
